- We feel positive that the approval of the proposal is triggered by a broad involvement of all the representatives of the profession;

- We consider necessary to provide a further expansion of the moments of confrontation with the professional community to accompany the journey from submission to final approval of legislation by the organs of Government and Parliament, this is to seek the maximum possible sharing and reassure those colleagues watching with concern the nth process of redefinition of our being and act professional while you set up, in our opinion, as a necessary step in order to guarantee a future for our profession;

- We also necessary to adequately respond to new challenges posed by the current political situation, economic and social development of the country, to reiterate the proposal of signing a pact for the profession, ie a strategic alliance between all ranks in the Profession ‘s uniform implementation of actions and initiatives at national and regional levels, which might serve the following objectives:

1) Approval of the bill for the reorganization of the profession as a full recognition of its implementation. Dialogue with the Government, Parliament, political parties and trade unions
2) definition of a specific scientific field of Social Service, whose teaching is given, usually social workers to teachers;
3) recovery of the journey undertaken by the Technical Board of the Ministry of Health on the functions of professional social work and social leadership in health care. Definition of an organizational model to be proposed at the regional level. Dialogue with the Conference of the Regions.
4) request for the establishment of a similar table Technician in the Ministry of Welfare for a definition of an Area of ​​SSP and its leadership in Local Bodies Dialogue with the ANCI.
5) implementation of initiatives for the defense and protection of the profession in various operational areas, with particular regard to security conditions.
6) promotion of the profession.

We believe that this Covenant for the profession must be based on the activation of processes of participation, mobilization and sharing involving the entire professional community, with the anticipation of a meeting of the “General State of the Profession” which should be a time of strong dialogue with representatives of institutional and political, but above all an opportunity to extend the contents of the Covenant suggesting a close connection between our bodies and those of professional people in the prospect of being able to design a new system of welfare and social policies.
We urge, therefore, how many are in address, to want to pronounce on the proposal and in particular the CNOAS want to take a connecting role and take responsibility, when it emerges a positive finding of any initiatives aimed at realization of the path outlined above.
